MOOD BOARD

When we delve into Picasso's blue period, we encounter a collection of artworks characterized by their somber and vintage aesthetic. These paintings, created in the early 1900s, hold a distinct historical aura. My objective was to honor this legacy while infusing a contemporary touch, blending the past and present to preserve the essence of Picasso's work with a casual yet chic approach.
VISUAL IDENTITY

Picasso's most renowned piece from his blue period, "The Old Guitarist," served as the inspiration for my design choice to incorporate the "B" from "Bleu" as a tribute to this iconic work. Using the French language in the name is a nod to Picasso's time in France, where he created these paintings. Additionally, "La Vie en Bleu" draws a playful parallel to the famous French song "La Vie en Rose," which is all about viewing the world through rose-tinted lenses. This blend of professionalism and a touch of whimsy captures the essence of my creative approach.
POSTERS

I had a clear vision for the posters - I wanted to incorporate a pattern reminiscent of those popular Pinterest wall posters often found adorning people's spaces. This pattern was carefully chosen to resonate with a broad audience, particularly appealing to a younger demographic. The posters were designed to catch the eye, combining a professional approach with a casual appeal that's sure to engage viewers.
MOCKUPS
Continuing the theme, the mockups maintain the use of the pattern, as it emerged as a compelling and versatile element throughout the project. Notably, the stickers reintroduce the concept of viewing the world through "blue-colored lenses," adding a touch of whimsy. In this section, you'll also find the website mockup, demonstrating a harmonious blend of professionalism and a relaxed approach consistent with the project's overall style.
WEBSITE
Finally, we arrive at the website, where the pattern makes a lively appearance again, contributing to an engaging visual experience. Nearly all buttons are designed to lead you to further pages, promoting exploration and interaction. To delve deeper into the project and experience it firsthand, don't hesitate to click around and explore the prototype. This encapsulates a fusion of professionalism with a user-friendly and casual vibe, inviting you to immerse yourself in the content.
